The Development
Situated in the beautiful village of Chase, Whitfield Landing takes full advantage of all the Shuswap Lakes area has to offer. As one of the most popular destinations in BC, the Shuswap area is a true four-season attraction. The approx. 400 km of shorelines offers many provincial parks, hiking areas and unlimited water recreation. The surrounding mountains are great for skiing (Sun Peak Resort), cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, and mountain biking. The surrounding area of Whitfield Landing is peppered with first class golf courses and fabulous horseback riding trails.
The development itself will offer something for everyone, whether you are looking for a permanent residence or a resort property. The planned four stages, designed by award winning architect Bryce Rositch, will include single-family homes (many with carriage houses), town houses, apartment style condos as well as some retail space and an 80-room boutique hotel. At the center of the property there will be a community-shared clubhouse that will feature a swimming pool, hot tub as well as other amenities. The entire development will take advantage of the great views over-looking Little Shuswap Lake as well as the view down the South Thompson Valley.
Working very closely with the ideals from our architect, we are committed to building a top quality development that will also meet and exceed environment concerns. Whitfield Landing will enhance the beauty of the Chase area while being a sustainable, desirable neighbourhood.
Being Green
The principals of The Barron Group are firmly committed to building and establishing quality homes but as well sustainable, efficient and environmentally sound communities. Our belief is to develop the top neighbourhoods and maintain such value over the long run.
Our environmental philosophy and visions are based upon sustainable living, water and energy efficiencies, materials and resources, and indoor environmental quality.
Whitfield Landing will be a place to live, grow, work, play, create and learn. The vision is to ensure all are healthier homes with a healthier community, which will include more green space than ever and public ownership of space (i.e., trail, community centre). The design will complement the surrounding, natural beauty, and will include many walking trails throughout the development.
