Rostich Hemphill
With the top 2008 Keystone Award for best residential project under their belt, the firm of Rositch Hemphill Architects knows and appreciates the qualities of the Thompson Valley. One of the principals, Bryce Rositch, grew up in Kamloops, and the family has had a cottage on Little Shuswap Lake for almost 30 years. Shopping for groceries on summer Saturdays is a long-standing tradition.

The firm has been active for two decades and specializes in community master planning, multi-family residential and resort design. While its successful projects have won countless awards, the focus of this architectural practice is on designing the best environment in which people are going to live.

Rostich Hemphill
In approaching the design for Whitfield Landing, Rositch Hemphill Architects recognise the sensitivity of the site, with its location along the river, in a valley surrounded by some of the prettiest hills around, and steps from the warm sand beaches of Shuswap Lake. It also recognises the opportunity to create an exceptional community that expands on the qualities already in the area.

Projects the firm has designed that are currently underway include Waterscapes in Kelowna and Summers Landing at Tobiano in Kamloops, as well as major projects in Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton, and numerous projects in Whistler and on the Gulf Islands. Past projects include the Borgata Lodge and first townhouse developments at Quail Ridge Golf Course in Kelowna, and Poets Cove Resort at Bedwell Harbour on South Pender Island.
